Operating hours are  Monday - Thursday 9am to 5pm. We do our best to accommodate your schedule when outside of hours as well so please contact us if you need special accommodations and we will do our best to work with you.

In your first therapy session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. We will also talk about your medical history and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.

The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Many clients attend therapy once a week, while others may attend less frequently. We will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Embodied Alignment Therapy is broken down this way:

"Embodied" meaning to be fully grounded into your body. Far too many people are disconnected from themselves and we want to help people become mindful enough that they feel safe to be present. Due to this you will notice that we are mindfulness focused in sessions. 

"Alignment" meaning to align with something or someone. We hope that through therapy you will start to align with yourself and the world around you. 

And, "Therapy" is the process of going through counseling and changing behaviors that align with your unique treatment goals. 

We do offer animal assisted therapy. If you are allergic please let us know and we can do our best not to have animals in your session. However, we may still have some "glitter" (hair) left in the office. If your allergies are too intense we will work with you and do offer virtual sessions. 

We have glass windows and doors in our office. When children may be fearful we leave the windows open. Parents are free to stand near the window. 

No matter the age, we respect client's right to confidentiality, this means if they want privacy we honor that. What is shared in sessions is between therapist and client. We only bring you in when your child has shared a danger to self or others, or others are harming them. In that case we will work with you and also report this to the proper authorities as well. Please note we also have to inform authorities if you are identified as a perpetrator.
